Monitors Causing Games To Crash?

So a few days ago I got two new monitors finally getting an upgrade to 144hz and for a bit I was loving them, but then when trying out random games to see differences and such, a few didn't want to open, from the current list that I know of being Terraria, Teamfortress 2, CS:GO, and Borderlands 2. I've tried methods to fix crash problems for all of these games aside from completely reinstalling steam of course (Rather not re-download games that do work if possible).

The only changes from memory at least from my computer since I last played these games (some of which I played right before switching monitors) is changing the hmdi cords to displayport and the monitors themselves.
TL:DR I think my monitors are messing up some of my steam games, not sure why.
Appreciate any help on this topic.

All of them besides terraria open a toolbar window for a few seconds and crash terraria doesn't even open

It is unlikely that a monitor could do that.

What happens if you re-install an affected game?

I have a similar problem with Steel Rats, when i have 2 monitor's On the game have heavy fps's drop's and the only way to fix it is to turn of 1 of the monitor's Off directly on windows so i think it's not a problem with your hardware but probably the games it selves.

Check your GPU drivers and see if there is any driver's for the monitor on Samsung site.
(90% sure is a software problem)

Try reinstalling steam. I too just switched to 144hz and somehow multiple games started freezing after 5 minutes of gameplay, then the whole steam client would crash, so I deleted the steam, only left steamapps and installed it fresh. Now I just played for 30 minutes without the any freezing/crashing. I hope I fixed it for good. Maybe it was something with steam overlay thinking its still 60hz...

I'll give this a try u deleted everything in the steam folder other than steamapps?

Turns out the last time I updated my Nvidia drivers it blue screened but the update finished so I didn't think much of it at the time but, I realized Geforce Experience wasn't opening so I reinstalled my drivers completely and all those games work thanks for the help to the people to responded!
