Steam gift services down?

So I've bought a game yesterday that is supposed to be delivered by gift.
Now the supplier tells me that the gift services are down.
Are they really down? And when are they going to be fixed.

I already did they said that the Steam Gift Service is causing issues and I have to wait for Steam to fix the gift service. After that the store where i bought the game from will send me the gift

I'm enjoying this. I even tried to and did purchase 3 games to 3 friends just to see if it could have been a bug or something.

No I bought the Arma 3 Contact DLC on a trusty website (I already bought some stuff off there for other platforms) for cheep like 20 % off and they are going to deliver it by a gift bot it seems. I would've appreciated a key but gift? A bit odd. It's been 2 days since I bought it and on the sellers support they say that steam services for gifting are causing the issue.

Well, I've got Sims 4 DLCs from them without any problems and they even offer to refund if I can't wait any longer.

Oh, well that's a lot better than what I was thinking. The trust factor still boggles me, I guess I'm just a paranoid sort.

Only issue is the steam gift service. I would like to get an update on that because everybody else gets to play that dlc and I'm sitting here with empty hands

Sounds like they were using a hole in rule enforcement. Valve patched the hole.

Too many complaints and after seeing those support responses, I had to. My friends were happy too.
