My corgi logo emoticon disappeared
Hi, during the grand prix event I bought this emoticon, and 80 levels in the event badge. Some days ago I refunded one of the games, my badge went to level 79, no issues there, but the emoticon disappeared too. Shouldn't valve ask you what you want removed from your account in the case of a refund? Also I think 99% of cases leveling down the badge would be the favoured choice. Can I get my emoticon back?

The corgi logo emoticon was bought with tokens you didn't earn, because of the refund.

Tough break.

I bought something on Steam and then redeemed my tokens at the Pit Stop. Why did those items disappear from my Steam inventory?

If you requested and were granted a refund for a Steam purchase, then any tokens you earned from that purchase that you redeemed at the Pit Stop will be deducted from your account. If that results in your token balance becoming negative, then the most recent items (or games with the shopping cart discount) you've redeemed tokens for will be removed from your account.

Would be quite the job to ask every individual who did a refund what they want to keep. You could always try and ask Steam Support if you believe that they'll do something about it. The rules did state that refunds would lead to loss of tokens and things being removed though. :cozyhitman2:

"Would be quite the job to ask every individual who did a refund what they want to keep" I didn't meant for Valve employees to ask the refunders but instead to have the steam interface do it itself

You won't be asked to keep since your refund nullified the other transactions due to insufficient tokens.
