502 Bad Gateway

I'm getting this a ton lately again... Anyone else experiencing this and store pages go black screen and weird video issues..

Sale are here 2021... Well, preparing for them and having some frequent sales.

I went to steamstat.us and saw "Bad Gateway" next to Steam Community.. Steam related with just the community section. Nothing was loading right in any part of the community area.. I kept getting those "Steam faces" haha. Some are cute so I did a few retries just to see the other steam characters. O.o

502 error means a server error nothing no one can do but wait.

502 actually means a seever-side fault. In technical terms it means a HTTP seever acting as a proxy failed to get a valid response from the upstream application. It can happen for instance if the PHP runtime crashes on request, i.e. due to the server running out of memory.

Maybe there's an increase in instances of error 502 so it is again relevant?

Usually on my personal website this is means something is totally broken and needs to be fixed to restore operation, but on a large website like Steam operated by large clusters of servers this can be an intermittent failure, and could even be resolved on affected servers by automated restarts.

yes, this happened with me too today. Tried several times but it didnt work
and yes i am experiencing this in the ongoing autumn sale
