I can't help but think of this every time i see Timmy's picture and the puppet that he is.....
https://youtu.be/3nOxdKcqC_I?t=25
You know people who like to be treated like ♥♥♥♥ usually have low self esteem and views them as such. It's probably why Iceberg likes Epic so much
That isn't luck, that is a CEO and his employees making very smart decisions and understanding the market.
The same CEO who left PC gamers stranded and said: "All PC gamers are pirates." and the one who claimed that "PC is good for everything except gaming?" Pray tell, what is he doing in the market he abandoned now? Right, ruining it.
The engine comes from work definetly (of course not from timmy himself) but fortnite comes from luck and copy paste, why they did not copy paste every Steam/Uplay features it's weird, i guess the tech guy for the launcher is as dumb as the CEO.
Lol, still "hurt" by a view of a different era of gaming. Time to let it go. Oh, by the way the CEO didn't state all pc gamers are pirates.
It was a very long time ago when tv's were still in black and white, PEOPLE CHANGE, ok maybe not timmy because he's still dumb and stubborn like a donkey.
(Timmy understand the market lol, maybe the fruit market but certanly not the gaming market)
Not really hurt. Just pointing out that he's a greedy and money-grubbing prick who cares only about his bank account. At least the services I presently am using give me a good illusion of being appreciated as a customer, whereas Epic wants to feed people feces and wants them to like it.
It's been a fair few years for me building my library of games on Steam. That's quite a lot of cash invested into my gaming. All of it held on the cloud for me to access when wanted. I take offence at any company undermining my investment. It's not about "another icon on my desktop", it's about me supporting my investments with Steam.
Is it to difficult being greedy and consumer friendly as the same time?
I don't think so.
I'm sure Steam/GOG/MS are greedy 24/7 but they are also consumer friendly and continue to work every day to win even more consumers and of course money.
But epic is just greedy with a big G.
I was hoping someone would say this someday and i would point this out https://imgur.com/fl3u2NN
Things that are said by Epic CEO and it's employee mainly Epic ex-president Mike Capps that shat on PC Gaming/PC Gamers:-
1. PCs are good for everything, just not games - Tim Sweeney (2008)
2. So, maybe facebook will save PC gaming, but it's not going to look like Gears of War - Mike Capps (2010)
3. Piracy is pretty big problem and Bulletstorm failed due to PC piracy - Mike Capps (2012)
4. Something about piracy and PC and console is money-making machine - Tim Sweeney (2017)
All they do is talk and blame on PC and Piracy but they haven't done any single thing and have solution to overcome and now they blame Valve. All they do is blame and point fingers at someone else. Epic and it's CEO & it's employee does not sound too smart that does not make smart decision & understanding.
Which company never gave up on PC gaming? - VALVE/STEAM
Which company found solution to PC piracy? - VALVE/STEAM
Which company made piracy unattractive - VALVE/STEAM
Hence thus who is the savior and made PC gaming a attractive platform to every devs/pubs and customers from all nation it is VALVE/STEAM.
Destroy and crush this false king called Epic Games and Epic Games Store.
Personnaly i go where the games are even if i prefer Steam but when it comes to giving money to greedy pubs. through a despicable and even more greedy "store" i just can't.
It is difficult, if you believe that your customers are "entitled toxic gamers", which is how Sweeney and the likes see us. They always "know better" and "what we, the gamers, really want" better than ourselves. GOG and Steam actually even demonstrated generosity in the past (GOG had to scrap their fair pricing program because of the financial difficulties) and Steam still takes onto transaction fees above 6%, as opposed to Epic, which passes those costs onto the customer. So go figure.
