So how the hell do you get more coins?
If I assume buy more games and get points for nitro and use it to get coins?

Just buy more games, period. Any unused boost points will get automatically converted into coins on the 7th.

1 boost point = 1 token, so, yeah, pretty much. Buy games to increase your maximum potential points. Play the spotlighted games and do the listed things or redeem achievements for other games to use that capacity boosting your team. A single boost can use up to a thousand of your points.

how tf are people getting a high level badge with such a low game count though? Ive spent hundreds this sale and still getting thrashed by people with badge levels in the thousands who only have a few games and empty inventories lol...

They're exploiting on some tasks that are easy and theyre just repeating it. One of the game is Starbound and one on the task is to drink soda thats it so they just keep spamming it.

That still doesn't make sense. I have 30K points, but Steam will only let me redeem 100/day.

Maximum is event-long, not per-day.

You have a lot of achievements, which will allow you to get tokens, but for that, you need to increase max points, in other words, spend cash.

Not to sound like I'm making fun of the OP, cuz I'm not. But it's amazing how there are still so many people who have no idea how this event works this late into it. This is what happens when your page design is a cluster.

thats what ive been hearing but idk how the event works still and im just assuming thats how they're exploiting it.
