Grand Prix rant, Valve is knowingly sabotaging Team Cockatiel.

No points for originality I know, but can someone explain to me wth is going on with the race atm?

I'm in Team Cockatiel, and for the past 3 races we've consistently been the second fastest team behind Corgi, yet we somehow end 4th & 5th? Might as well remove the speed dials altogether Valve, they serve little purpose beyond adding to the frustration.

Yes, same.. I was in corgi, and they nerfed it, and it came last, so I said myself - Hey, since Corgi will never win, I'll just reroll team, and whoosh, next day Corgi is 1st again, again on its unstoppable winning spree.. GG, Make up your mind already if you want Corgi to keep winning or losing, you change rules everyday..

The problem is that, we, cockatiels, do fly. So we have to reach a certain altitude and then go down meaning that our glorious speed has nothing to do with the distance covered.

Corgi will always win, rest is about luck.. I already wasted all the points and I refuse to spend more money on steam games for it, why? They'll change rules again in few hours so who gives a damn.. waste of money

Thats because 75% of users are on corgi, so obviously they are the strongest voice. But yes something is still weird with the race

Yeah Cockatiel in the early days was always consistently coming in 2nd or 3rd. Then Valve started changing stuff, and now it's getting beaten by everyone. I'm not even that concerned about the fact they still failed to balance Corgi in the slightest. More concerned whatever rebalance rigging they did overpowered Pig, and Hare. I guess it doesn't matter though. The event was a joke more or less. Hopefully they learned if they ever expect to do something like this again you better assign teams randomly.

Nice info predprey I figured it was something like that. Guess i'll hang on to what points I have left until near the end of the event to see if they remove the lead weights off Cockatiel's wings before I use anymore boosts.

I would guess most people are using their point stealing items on cockatiel. No one's gonna dethrone Corgi except Valve, so any smart player is gonna sabotage the team in second or third.

Slow down probably, but steal? You definitely need to target Corgi for that, as it's based on how far away the target is from you.

And the speed multiplier is supposed to include slow down attacks.

And I do not understand this -> We have bigger speed than Hare, and way less attacks, and hare is winning.. excuse me wtf steam
