The text in the Pit Stop has been updated to show what's really going on. If you did not spend your Lunar tokens earlier this year during that event, they were converted to Grand Prix tokens.

The original text in the Pit Stop was in error. It was not taking into account the Lunar tokens you spent earlier in the year, so it made it seem like you should have had more tokens now than you got. They have fixed the text error now.

You're not short tokens.

You also don't get tokens for buying games. You get additional max points capacity. That allows you to earn more points which you can then use to Boost your team - which converts them to tokens.

Doubtful - I'm willing to bet your friend is not remembering correctly. But it's possible. If so, your friend got lucky.

I've bought every emoticons for 100 each aka that's another 2700 points (If i remember the price right)

Grand total : 15,500 points

So where are my points gone ? XD

So the numbers are close - you have 200 tokens sitting on your "bank" right now in Pit Stop?

That text is saying you spent those 7834 tokens in the Lunar event, so you did not get them in this event. You already spent them previously.
