Why Team Corgi have so many people?

I just dont understand :/ the reason why I chose Team Corgi was because I clicked on the first team I saw, but now everyone is in there for some reason.

Don't act like you wouldn't have done the same thing. And it is Valves fault for not thinking this garbage event through. The teams should have been randomly picked, or at the very least who was in the lead should have been hidden from users until after they chose their team.

Of course I blame Valve. A child could've told them that making users be able to choose teams and influence the outcome would lead to imbalances, as is always the case.

Would you have designed the event this way knowing full well that people were free to pile into the winning team en masse? Be honest now.

I already stated I was early on and never even bothered to research which cartoon animal I would use ..... you obviously did and now here we are. All I am saying is that you made the choice, not me. And also Valve made the choice, not me, to throttle the event.

No acting needed . If you bothered to read the interactions my choices were made at the start based on location of what was closest to my mouse clicker .... now do try to tell me what I have already stated( Valve picks) then run off the mouth again

People are joining the winning team because its the only way for most players to have a chance of getting anything out of this event since the max points prevents most players getting the only decent prize in the pit stop. Infact i'm surprised valve haven't outright stated "Spend $500 to get $5.00 credit in this event!"

Which is another thing I stated in another post. Though now that I think about it the same problem probably would have occurred. If given the chance (even if you couldn't see who's winning) most people would have chosen the cute dog anyway. To keep things even and fair I think the only good way to have gone about this was to have randomly chosen teams.

i joined corgi in the first day it was behind all teams but now theres like so much people steam showed the positions so its just broken

I chose team pig because red is my fave color and I thought pigs are a bit more fun imo. ended up being bottom team most of the time so far.

That may well have been the case in the beginning but as soon as people saw Corgi had a clear lead the numbers just blew up. He is exactly right. I stupidly didnt pay attention and just picked what I thought would be good choice. The turtle hahaah
