Team Corgi complaining is so funny

They won every single race so far, last one inexplicably how, and yet they feel so victim and keep crying in the forums about the nerf. Feels bad being on the losing side, I know guys. But perhaps give everyone else a chance?

If you didn't get nerfed, it would be just like day 1 and 2 - you way over the finish lane when the others have barely moved from their start positions. But no Corgi member ever complained about that, because who cares if it's fair when you're winning am I rite?

Or perhaps you still end up winning despite being 5th just seconds before the race ends, like what happened yesterday.

Well. The point is that "the game was rigged from the start".
Lets say there are total 1 mil users participating in a race (boosting team once per day atleast)
75% of them are Corgi and 300 users get a game per day, lets do "quick maths"(tm).
300/750000*100=0.04% chance of any active users getting their game.
Lets say that other teams consist of 6.25% of users (just to make maths quicker)
200/62500*100=0.32% chance for each user to get a game if their team got second place.
And for the good measure.
100/62500*100=0.16% for each user to get a game if their team got third place.
Sure, if script wasnt changed, 2 weeks for corgi meant that 0.04*14=0.56% for each user to get one game by the ending of 2 weeks. You see, how much different the odds for players to get a game from nonCorgi team per day and for Corgi THROUGHOUT WHOLE SALE EVENT.
If a smaller team gets in second place two times, every player of that team already got better chance to get a game than user from corgi team for full event.
Thats why people are unhappy.

most of corgis came to agreement on this earlier on.... that steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, its all on them, and they need to get their ♥♥♥♥ together and we all agreed that we should never been allowed to choose teams and they should have been auto set and evened out.... but you may not have been part of that convo, i dont mind... you will probably come to that realisation yourself when you stop acting childish over losing a single race out of the never ending win streak.... growing accustomed to victory breeds weakness.

nah, the whole coding they did ballanced it...

If you want to spend go ahead and get played by steam you have a less than 1% chance to get your free game regardless of your team at this point. With the corgis nerfed people will join your team now and you will find yourself in similar shoes.

chavs are one reason i hate popular things.... why i hate popularity contests and large groups of people and why to me the big bloated side must always die lol

and yeah, i tend to buy what i want anyway, theres nowt im really all too bothered about on my list.... i mean cyberpunk because i dont usually preorder much so thats only thing i suppose... three kingdoms i suppose but i wait until that becomes reasonable ad actually on sale, i dont consider that a sale price they have listed as, so i wil get that myself anyway, when its £25 lol

the fact that im blind to what your on about shows your lack of comprehension because if i wrote something with the intent you specified then id know about it and not be confused as to what the hell your on about. therefore you misunderstood something i wrote and confused me and now i probably confused you in return and no one knows whats going on

I think not everyone is complaining just because Corgi is losing. At least some of us don't like it when the rules are arbitrarily changed and the sweepstakes runners are basically deciding who wins and who loses.

I run plenty of giveaways and I have never gone: Oh, hey a friend joined, I should make them a winner.
I have also never gone: Oh, hey, an enemy joined, I should make them a loser.
I have also never gone: Oh hey, I think some people should have a bigger chance than others so I should change the rules midway to change the chances of people winning.

First off, generally rigging the winners would be illegal. Second off, I believe that fairness would mean not changing people's chances of winning partway through.

Unless Steam wants to give everyone on Corgi team an offer to refund every game they bought during the sale. Or make it so that the NUMBER of winners are based on the number of team members (since they seem to be making the effect of boosts inversely based on the number).

I agree on this specially when valve changed my 32k points from achievements to 11 k
