Yes OBVIOUSLY Team Corgi ran out of boosts THE EXACT SAME TIME VALVE STARTED FIDDLING WITH THE NUMBERS BEHIND THE CURTAIN.
This whole ordeal is a ♥♥♥♥ show and together with the embarrassing authenticator problems valve managed to turn me from a fan to a hater. At least I know from Jim Sterlings Video that valve ALSO pissed off developers with this ♥♥♥♥ so they are at least thorough when they shoot themselves in the foot.
Its not about running out of boosts, its about the effort to the amount of people ratio, as they wrote in their post - "Each team's progress is fueled by its active number of players and the points and boosts they contribute. ". This means that while previously 100 people boosting by 100 would equal to 10 people boosting by 1000, this is no longer the case and 100 people boosting by 100 are equal to roughly 1 person boosting by 100. At least that's how I understand what they wrote.
Ofc. I could be wrong, as thats just my assumption going by what I see.
also tunnel snakes rule!
after realizing they over-nerfed Corgi and I am pissed off (since I joined the day they nerfed it).
I love these fools ...
"We want to assure you that we are not manually intervening in the outcome of a given day's race."
The above quote is in Valve's latest News post about the Grand Prix event.
Either they changed their minds, or they are being incredibly two-faced about the whole thing.
