Why am I charged sales tax in Delaware?
I started getting charged tax a while ago and tried to find out why, but up until now I've gotten nowhere. Why am I being charged sales tax in a state with a 0% tax rate? Is there an "amazon" law in Delaware that the state convienientley forgot to tell us about?

You right. Somebody done goofed.

It is our current thinking that the mere use of the Internet as a vehicle for selling tangible property or intangible personal property will not create nexus in the market state. Since Delaware does not have a sales tax, the purchase of software will not create a tax liability for the purchaser.
