Thank you, Gabe! All Hail Gabe!
http://prntscr.com/o6m346
i didn't do anything but i have like 80k pts from several games (though my max is 1000 thanks gaben).
it also said you get boosts from past events and sales (including the lunar sale) so maybe that affects it too idk.
You think after all these years Steam would have learned by now that they need more server resources if they don't want the entire system to crash and burn on the first day of special events.
you need to wait to the next day or upgrade your max point holder
They changed their mind and not gonna do that.
- Claiming points earned via in-game achievements.
- Completing in-game quests, e.g. "Win a TF2 Casual match."
- Boosting my team.
- Attacking another team.
- Spending $$$ in the Steam store. (I did get the expected cash-to-cap-increase numbers, but unexpectedly they only counted for one day.
- Completing qualifier tasks. (Unexpectedly, these also seem to be one-day-only increases.)
- Redeeming tokens at the Pit Stop.
Apparently I'm doing something wrong and am still a non-participant.
