Either way, developers/publishers hauling games off of one service and onto another is inherently bad faith. I didn't pay for "your game", I paid for your game knowing that it was delivered on Steam with the advantages of Steam. Epic's halfassed store isn't something I'm keen on.
Click the little gear icon on the right side.
Select "ignore this creator".
Titles published by Deep Silver are now blacklisted from showing on your Steam store page and they are also automatically filtered out of your search results.
Curating the store of abusive publishers is something that is well within Valve's right as a company. I would even say that by neglecting to do so, they are inviting other publishers to continue to take advantage of them in this manner.
Thanks, that is a good idea.
