It doesn't do anything extreme like removing the game from your account or disable the ability to reinstall the game at a later point.
If you know you won't want the screenshots you might have taken, or ever want to play the original saves, delete away. They'll be reacquired and will be overwritten anyway if there's a folder still there, afaik.
And as Zekiran pointed out, it's having all the screenshots too, so if you want to save them, don't delete everything right away. :D
i just wanted to confirm that i havent corrupted anything in steam by deleting those folders
they are small and may contain saves or config files for the game
if you delete them, then later install the game those saves/settings will be gone
Yeah, but nothing will be in them if you've uninstalled. It will recreate everything needed to start fresh.
If the game has a Cloud save, you can then start up and presumably synch with it to get back any online-saved progress, but if anything changed in the meantime (version of the game, broken save cloud, etc) don't expect it to work 100% of the time.
