Credit Card Verification on a Debit Card Not Working...?
So, I recently added $50 to my Steam Wallet using my Visa debit card (which has been used on this account for going on half a year, and for bigger purchases) instead of my actual Visa because I'm in the process of moving to a different credit card company.

Now, I normally don't use the Community Market, but I just was looking at items, and was greeted by the message saying that funds had been added to my wallet with an unverified card. So, I start the process of verifying the card (which I've had to do before for my actual Visa), and have now been waiting for 20min for those two transactions to show up on my debit card transaction history.

EDIT: I've checked both on my phone app, and my bank's online banking website.

Is this a known issue with this system and debit cards, or is it just Steam being Steam...?

Also, if the system doesn't work for debit cards, and the card doesn't get verified, I can still use the card to purchase games, dlc, etc, right? I just can't buy Community Market items right away, I'd have to wait the 5 days or whatever?

The funds are tapped right away. If you bank is slow to update the transaction, call and ask.

If you can't verify the card through the system, the funds you added won't be usable for Market items for 3 days.

Only applies to the Market.
