RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 PC

This game is coming on Steam but I would like to give you my feedback to whoever would like to buy it. I bought it from Epic and I was unable to launch the game. I got to the main menu and my rig is : Nvidia GeForce 2080Ti, Z370 mobo, i7-8700, SSD 1 gb EVO PRO and 16gb RAM and I lowered the graphics to medium and the game did not launch at all.
It did CTD as soon as I hit the start tab. I got the error from Rockstart to re-start the game in Safe Mode to lower the graphics ( really ? ) and as much as I tried, I could not.
I decided to delete everything and reinstall the game from zero again. I lowered the graphics even more and the same problem occurred so I decided to ask for my money back.
With my rig, I am playing : Assassin Creed Odyssey, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Borderlands 3 in Ultra settings and I have not had any issues at all. Shadow of the Tomb Raider had some problems very well known by everyone due to DirectX12 but that issue was fixed and since then, my game runs perfectly fine in Ultra settings.

My PC is up to date. I have the most recent Nvidia driver, Windows is checking for updates every day and I am only running in the background certain stuff. My only antivirus is Windows Defender and it is not blocking anything in my PC so definitely it is not my PC the problem but something with that game. I won't play any game in less resolution that my native ( 2560x1440 ) resolution and any game should run fine under that resolution. Again, even lowering all graphic settings to medium or high and turning off AA completely ( TAA, etc, ), Motion Blur and a couple of more, the game could not run.

I could not believe that even with the best graphic card available in the market now, the game is so demanding that it is a headache. Such a shame because I wanted to play this game and I was waiting for it to come to PC for a very long time. I also follow some instructions that I found in the net in relation about how to fix bad things happening with the game like tweaking my Nvidia Control panel for the game but still, I could not. Just to let you know and you have been warned, at least, I could not.

Yeah the ultra options are for future hardware. I have everything bar textures on medium and don't bother with AA as I can't see any jaggies in the game anyway. Boy does it look good even on medium settings, fantastic. Bought mine straight from RS.
