Chargeback ban
Well, a few months back I got a chargeback ban for 2/3 weeks. It was then removed, and placed at 19 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ YEARS. My ass am I waiting that long, I contacted steam about the issue, I also used visa, and also contacted my bank. They said start a new account, but I have 200+ dollars worth of games, and I know i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because it most likely won't be appealed/accepted which is quite sad. :( Sad thing is, I can't even redeem codes, even though its card related. Yes, my mums bank randomly charged back, idk if my mum did it, but either way I hope this gets resolved.

the 2-3 weeks is the time you are allotted to solve the problem.

Don't use your mom's credit card.

You never reversed the chargeback. That's why.

Chargebacks are the equivalent of going to a store, buying something, using whatever you bought to the point that it is used up, then heading back to the store and taking your money back by force. Thats why Valve is so strict about it.
They gave you 2-3 weeks to reverse the chargeback, you didn't, and so they banned you from making any further purchases to prevent you from doing that to them again.

Did you get mum's permission before using her credit card???

Anyways, the way to resolve this is mum needs to contact the bank issuing the credit card and ask for the chargeback to be reversed. Otherwise your account will be locked forever.

Apparently they are well past the window to do so.

It sounds like the mum didn't knew it. So the purchase was also fraudulent to begin with.
