Just search for their name there. It's the same feature as before. When you find their profile you can just smash the "Add Friend" button like always.
- Display name.
- Player history, if supported in game.
If you already have contact with the person, such as VoIP, or etc, then just ask for one of the following.
- Friend code.
- Url link to their profile.
Which is the safest way anyway (although I have no idea what a "friend code" is supposed to be), as it just takes you to their profile with no chance of it going wrong.
Searching for display name -- you can never be sure you got the right guy. And it might not work at all if it's a new account; I think they have some limits in place.
