Problem with Profile Backgrounds, help please!

I just got a new Profile Background for my account and it's almost cut in half, and I'm unavailable to see the full thing, pretty sure that this is because of a update Steam had a while ago with the UI, but I can't just find a solution that works for me. Any suggestions?

Yeah its been like for around 6 months now. Another Steam bug. Mine is the same.
I get the feeling it was changed for small screens mobile devices, Sorry afaik it can't be changed and have to live with it.

That's so dumb, I've been looking for a fix for the past couple hours and this was my last resort to try and fix this. Makes me regret spending money on Steam just to get a new Profile Background, thanks for the reply, and thanks Steam.

Works fine for me, shows as intended. The backgrounds are usually designed for FullHD displays. Your current background uses a 1920x1200 resolution.

Damn, my resolution is 1360x768, feelsbadman I guess

That explains it, as the background images are not designed to scale with a resolution it does get cut off on lower resolution and/or window sizes. Has nothing to do with mobile devices and works this way for years now. The same way as the day Steam backgrounds were introduced on Steam.
