Is there a way to watch someone play a game on my account through a different computer?
A couple weeks ago, i noticed my other computer (My parents are separated and i have two computers) was playing a game through my account. I was suspicious that my mom was going through my computer, and i dont blame her, she is just curious about what im doing. But about 5 minutes ago, i got that same notification. I checked it out in the app, and it showed it was playing a game that i was playing earlier before i left. I do have a habit of leaving my stuff on when i leave, so i was curious of there is a way to watch it play the game. I'm just wondering if my mom's using my computer without me knowing, or if i just left my computer on again. I doubt it would just happen to turn itself on randomly in the middle of the night, so i just wanna know if im paranoid or what. thank you in advance.

Afaik unless you are broadcasting and have added allow public or friends to view it no one can view your playing .
Check the Steam settings broadcasting settings.

If you have family shared then yes I think so.
Are you using family share?

Whoever is playing would have to choose to broadcast the game. Maybe you should try just asking her instead.

Did you try asking your mom if she was playing on your computer using your account?
So i did ask her, she replied with nothing. She has the setting on that doesnt send the "sent" text underneath the message, so i dont know if she was sleeping or what. Thank you all for the help.

Install parental control software on your PC to control the parents?
