What errors are getting?

As far as anyone can tell, if you spend more on gifts than your own purchases by a factor of somewhere between 1.5 > 1.8 : 1, then you will get flagged as a reseller.

Perfectly reasonable. Who spends that much money on gifts consistently, without buying anything for themselves?

You, for example, own ONE game. You are also a member of a "key selling" group.

Your ban from gifting appears to be legitimate.

Use external payment methods to purchase gifts.

When I buy a game for me with PayPal, count this to the factor "own purchases" or just purchases for my own, with wallet?

Interesting... Guess its a good thing the library happened and I have now moved to GoG.

Sounds like I would have been banned anyway for buying multiple copies of the games I buy for my friends.....

Typically nearly every game I get I buy 1-3 more copies of.... but now GoG will get that money!

Other user send muuuuuuuch games and spend not much into Steam. It need very long, for the ban...So it's possible to resell this, and it's a good secure against these. ;)

I got banned myself. I have like, 90 games. My gifting history isn't all that bad. What do you feel about mine?

This is months old, but: thats holiday shopping. if they are looking at things like gifting : bought, how long people have been "friends" etc, then it makes perfect sense to me.

You dont game the system and they can tell. You also probably dont buy those gifts with a steam wallet fat from market transactions.

Valve has a lot more data to look at that any of us to determine this. Time on friends list being a good one, for example. Games that you already own and are buying for friends as another.

Obviously, legitimate activity would have a large overlap with non- so Valve has determined what key metrics they are comfortable using making this determination.

With access to all of the data, it probably isnt hard to sort out, honestly.

Contact support.

Or use an external payment method.

When they have told you the case is closed, that means that case is closed.

Use another form of payment, if the one you've been using has been refused entirely.
