Can't find my Steam Group through community search tab
Title pretty much says it all.
I created a public group which i would like to show up in the community search tab for more people to join if they'd like.
Unfortunately, I cannot find my own group by searching either of its names (Steam Link name, in-game-tag etc.).
Does the group require a certain number of people before showing up, are there any admin tools to make the group available for anyone or did I miss out anything else?

Would appreciate any help I can get! Thanks in advance :-)

Its a thing of time. Propagating all changes through the CDN in real time is impossible. What's a Steam link name though? The group name is the important part.

I was talking about the name in the https-link to the Steam Group (the last part after the / ), not entirely sure if that is also the group name.

It doesn't have to be the group name. It can, but since you can pick both, it can be different that said, if you want people to join the group by URL, send them the URL directly, no need to search.

The thing is I don't want to send around the URL at all times, I want people to be able to find the group themselves by searching the URL name / group name in the community search tab.
I wasn't able to figure out yet why the group itself cannot be found using either of those names mentioned.

I wrote to steam support - group is visible only when it has more than 50 members with fully activated accounts (players need to spend money on steam to have full access account)

Thank you faceless
So how do you even find a group without the 50 members with fully activated accounts? Is it impossible?

yes is impossible. But when the group reach 50 it will find it in the search

So .. is there any workaround to find groups with less than 50 members by it's name?

As far as I know, there is no possibility to make your group visible to the public with less than 50 members. You would basically have to reach 50 members first by sending the group link etc. before others can find it.

no! ppl on this questionary, get this point: ONLY WHEN 50! OTHERWISE THIS WOULDNT BE REPEATED ALL THE TIME - 50

Ye I got that. But I was talking 'bout a workaround.

A service that let's u search through the whole databank, cuz the data itself is existent, so there has to be some way – like this:

https://steamid.uk/group_search.php
