RDR 2 Steam delay shows that publishers can treat Steam users like crap because Valve won't do anything

We are lucky there are many others devs with great titles thinking differently... Rockstar could be among them, as soon as they stop dealying games on pc and giving exclusives... in the end, i'm wondering why i still end thinking about cd project as the best guys out there in terms of games, contents, dlc and so on...

I remember when Rockstar was for me a long time ago what CDProjekt is today and i'm sure CD is not less greedy than any other Pubs./Devs. but they also are friendly, sometimes i imagine guys like Rockstar/EA/Ubi and now epic all in a big table just trying to figure out what ''friendly'' next move they will try on player's.

I don't even know why Rockstar don't try to have us link our bank accounts directly to the game and when we play Poker in-game the money we lose is directly removed from our account.

EGS' whole schtick has been to target impatient people who can't wait a year or a couple months.

So what's happened here is. All the impatient folk will buy off of ROckstar's client directly, while the smart folk will wait., and are likely to buy off steam due to convenience. So who's left to buy from EGS?

Well Valves little reminder/change to their release date policy may have something to do with that. If you want to list ion steam you can't release any later than a month after its released on another store.

Believe it or not... not everyone is bribed easily with "free" ♥♥♥♥. Even when Epic has been doing giveaways of various games people have been buying said games elsewhere.

While the think is agreeable with, i do not really understand why people is "smart" if they wait and buy on steam. Convenience? what convenience? you will get convenience in a year when the price will drop off. Actually i see smart to buy on rockstar, to preorder on rockstar if we want to puntualize, get in game bonuses and a free game, i won't judge people wich don't do that as "not smart" tho. We will see in a month how much conveniece all of you "smart folk" will get on steam. Not even a 10% discount i guess, you gonna pay exactly the same you would on rockstar. I'm bored to wait, i see no convenience to wait another month and i go to buy on rockstar. While ofc everyone is free to do whatever he wants, i find quite ridicolous to wait another month just for the sake of buying on steam, i did not "pledge" my loyalty to Gabe and we owe nothing to steam, as much as i like it and i buy almost everything on it. The game will probably not have steam achivements, we still have to log on rockstar social club, the price will be most probably the same. Very convenient. Want to wait for steam just for loyalty? Good for you and for Gabe. Just avoid to set some "smartness parameters" please, this would be very kind.
The point of not buying from epic is another different matter, i refuse to do it cuz i dislike the policy they are playing lately, and belive it or not, i won't get it from them even for free.
