Why cant I change my PayPal details ?
Why can't I change my paypal details ? Game purchases just go through without me needing to input Paypal details ??? I never set this up.

You need to fill it.. if you dont, you cant make a purchase...

If you dont know why ask to the bank

Probably a change that was done when all the other users were complaining about not being able to use PayPal the last few days.

Bank has nothing to do with PayPal.

He probably ticked a "remember my payment details" checkbox at some point. It should be possible to untick it somewhere.

PayPal also has a checkbox to remember the login -- again, I don't know the details of what it does, as I have no interest to "speed up payments".

Also, while I don't know whether it's the same thing, I've previously revoked payment authorizations from PayPal, when a seller insisted on getting a permanent one -- so allowed it, made the payment, then revoked it.

Remove the payment method and re-add it the next time you want to buy something. Don't tick PP's own one-click-payment option this time.

I deleted my old payment method now it won't allow me to add Paypal , just credit card ???

I had a hell of a time removing a closed bank account on paypal, they wanted a card on file. When I told them the bank account was closed THEY removed it. I never had the option.

Don't know if it's a Steam issue or PayPal one, but I recently attempted to purchase a game and the transaction screen got stuck on "working" then "Your purchase may have been completed, but there was a problem checking on the status of this transaction. Please check your account status page or your email for a confirmation receipt." Link to account status is broken and no new emails.

Yes, appears to be an issue with PayPal processing as I changed payment method to debit card and it worked fine.
