Funny thing is if Epic is successful and hoard any and all titles catered to the western style and (especially) sensibilities then anime titles, both Adult and non, will be the only thing left exclusively to steam since epic said they won't touch those "icky" asian games.
It's always a cesspit fire.
Are all 18+ porn?
You do know that Valve does not allow such games with minors in it, right?
Most of these anime games depict very young girls. It's obvious who the customer base for these incel games are.
Doubt he does. And people like him don't care. "Stop liking what I don't like!" You can't reason with that kind of people.
To quote your own words:
"Is that what you call anything that hurts your world view?"
There is a possibility that he doesn't quite get the "porn" aspect. Having a girl in a game doesn't make it "porn".
I've just checked my "trending" to see how many "porn" games there are.
First game has tags "nudity" and "sexual content", but does not qualify as "adult only". The screenshots on the store page are more than harmless; I'm not even seeing fanservice there -- no idea what these tags are for.
The second game DOES give me the "you're seeing this game because you've enabled stuff" banner, along with screenshots that -- as far as I can tell -- are beyond what would work for fanservice, or at least the common "T"-rated fanservice.
The third game is Code Vein, the fourth game is some kind of tower defense game. #5 is a dating sim -- with no "nudity" and related tags. Followed by Cat Quest 2, The Surge 2, and a city builder. Then there's some kind of naval battle F2P MMORPG, and finally the Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered that was released a couple of days ago.
As such, I'm not seeing a significant number of "porn" games even with adult content enabled.
