World of Outlaws Sprint Cars 2002
The game World of Outlaws sprint Cars 2002 still runs in windows 10 and it has a multiplayer mode that still looks for people online. There just aren't players. When there were, competition was great and fast. Why aren't there players? Does anybody know of this game being played somewhere?

The game is from 2002, it has been long forgotten by many people who have moved on.

moved on to what? Is there a modern game that has a good sprint car simulation?

You mean drag racing? Forza Horizon 4 has a small but active playerbase around that mode.

There was a World of Outlaws game on the PS3/Xbox 360.

But I meant more as in people just move on and play other games, other genres even.

No, not drag racing. Sprint cars, sort of buggy's on dirt/mud tracks. I think one of the Dirt games had them in it.

Huh, learned something new. While Forza has something similar with beach and dune buggys, they are evidently not the same as those sprint cars.

Real sprint cars are the fastest class on dirt ovals. They weigh 1200 lbs and have 850 horsepower. It's the same power to weight ratio as formula one cars. They go around a 1/4 mile oval in 11 seconds. The World of Outlaws 2002 game is excellent at simulating the racing, as good as any racing game. There are lots of people that still run this game. I'm just putting out the word to see if I can find them.

As far as I know it's not a Steam game, so I do have to ask the question: What does this have to do with Steam?

It's a PS2 game, I think. And I agree, it has nothing to do with Steam, or Steam Client. If it belongs anywhere on these forums, Off-Topic would be the place for it, IMHO.

Only option on Steam that Im aware of:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/12590/

It wasnt a great game even when it was new.

Asking if anybody knows of they or people they might know are playing a certain game isn't off topic in a general discussion forum. Alot of people read forums and there is a good chance someone could be here that knows what I'm talking about.

Here's a example of "off topic": When I'm baking a apple pie, what kind of apples should I use?
