Does anyone here use Killer Network Manager for steam Apps, need advice
Hi, i was wondering if anyone here used the Killer Network Manager (or similar program) when playing steam games.

Do you prioitize just the game or all of the steam items on the list like bootstrapper, client service, and webhelper?

And what do you have your priority set at for the broadband priority, (highest or middle)?

Thanks JW

I removed that software as soon as I installed my ethernet driver. It gave me nothing but headaches.

If you must use it, you need to give priority to the bootstrapper, client, and webhelper. If you play online games then give them top priority over everything else. Ie; DayZ and Punkbuster (or whatever) then under that is Steam.

An easy way to tell is to use Performance Monitor to see what is using your connection and then prioritize from there in your Killer UI

One big issue is that google hogs everything no matter what you do. I was trying to play a game and upload a video to youtube and i set google to 3 and 4 and my game to 1 and the video upload still hogged all the bandwidth. I could not even view a webpage on my other monitor because it hogged everything.

I wonder if this would be a good way to use ramdrive since i have a new system.
