True.
Steam can "assist" or "suggest" pricing, but they don't set it.
It's not Steams fault that people are paying what developers/publishers are asking though.
If people are buying them, then they will continue to do so at that price range.
I get what you're saying, though. Everyone is after a deal.
I am not blaming Steam, I am stating that the bundle is overpriced for what the individual items are worth, which is exactly what they say doesn't happen here....
Consistent Discounting
Past Complete Packs often got out of sync with pricing when the contents of the packs went on sale, resulting sometimes in the pack being more expensive than the individual items. The new Bundles system addresses this by automatically adjusting when the contents go on sale so they are proportionately always a good deal for customers and don’t require ongoing management on the part of developers. We can do this because the bundle is just a specified percentage off the current price of the items in the bundle.

Now I don't know whether Deep Silver meant to bundle all 4 of their games as "complete" games or separate with each individual dlc item to charge more or if this is an oversight by the way the Bundle system works on Steam because I am not an employee of Deep Silver or Steam. And unless your an employee of either Deep Silver or Steam you don't know either.
I was trying to bring it to the attention of Steam or Deep Silver that if you bought the Saints row games individually right now it would be cheaper then going with their bundle, which is something that I don't think is supposed to be the case as that defeats the purpose of bundles.
You'll have to provide a link to their bundle because the ones I'm seeing look pretty good. I don't think I'm looking at what you're looking at, though. :)
Oh I wouldn't doubt that, but I would hate for anyone to have to pay almost 70$ for something that is really only 20$ which is why I thought I would bring it up because that is a big discrepancy.
My title is very matter of fact what it is, Steam is overcharging for the package, I can't determine how people will read it.

If your like me and own any of the saints row games it will automatically adjust when you click on the bundle, so for me it says its $8.42 because i don't own gat out of hell and saints row 2. But when you click on the deep silver page it shows the full price which is $190 with 64% $68.53
I was wondering where you came up with those numbers. Anyhow, I'd suggest contacting Deep Silver if you deem it necessary.
It's litterally impossible to over pay for something. If you agree to pay that means you consider what you';re paying for to be of at least equal value to what you are paying out of pocket.
The seller has the right to charge whatever they deem reasonable for their product and the buyer hs the power to agree and purchase or disagree and not purchase.
Please read the whole post because this has nothing to do with what people will pay and what sellers charge.
Please read my response. ANd satoru's.
