What are some good driving or shooting games where you can free drive or kill hoards of things easily for when you have had a long day and wanna relax?

Now that I think of it, I wasted a LOT of time just randomly wandering the huge map and blowing up enemy bases … it never got old.

Why? I do play Dark Souls to Relax...

Otherwise, how about:
Mad Max - Free driving through a beautiful Desert, and easy enemies.
Killing Floor/Killing Floor 2 - Mindlessly shooting mindless zombies to bits. Currently on sale because Halloween.
GTA or Saints Row Series - Free driving and shooting, and shooting while driving (mostly urban setting).

I suggest Skyrim.

You don't need any skill to kill everything in the game. If you play it on easy its like you click on a monster and it falls over and is dead.

You have to search too much for enemies, if you don't play careful and read and talk you miss 3/4 of the game.

But he wants to play games mindlessly. So Skyrim is a viable choice. You just have to click on opponents and they are dead if you play on easy. There is zero skill or thinking involved.
