This is intended to be a quick reference list, gathered together by the steam community, of games that are no longer playable. A quick place to check if the game you want to play has had servers taken down or for some other reason is no longer playable.

Intended format:
Game name: <Game name>
Reason unplayable: <Short reason it is unplayable>
Alternative: <If available an alternative way to play the game i.e. link on how to create own server>

Alternative: Apparently still available via xbox 360.

Reason unplayable: Servers decommissioned.
Alternative: Nil.

Game name: RUSE
Reason: Ubisoft cannot legaly sell anymore (licensing issues).

Yeah, lets conveniently ignore that the game is not online only focused

No longer playable in my books means not being able to play the game AT ALL, not that the online part doesnt work anymore

Would be nice if people actually read the title.

now if you mean that the master servers are down, thats a different story

The game isnt even being sold anymore anyway
