What timezone does steam use?
I live in Australia so hearing a summer sale is on the 22nd got me excited. Here it is the 22nd and looking at my wishlist with no -xx% tags I was like, "Damn timezones gone trolled me again"

Pacific. They operate out of Washington state, so use Pacific. The sale starts at 10 AM Pacific.

Why ever would someone do that?The sale will be going for a couple of days.more than enough time to take a good look at all games that one can care about and then buy whenever they feel like it.
