off topic isn't exactly a walk in the park, either.

Where do you hang out? It usually depends pretty strongly on the specific game.

simple most people lack arguments so they try to undermine a person on grammer or ♥♥♥♥.
to over come a argument.

If you ask something clearly covered in, say, a pinned thread, people will bash on you for not reading it.

I checked your post history but didn't see anything "rude" on it. What are you on about anyway?

Off topic is inbred cancer. I occasionally see peace within Off topic, but most of the time people are competing to get as many personal attacks in before the mod locks it.
I'm sorry Seth but overall this isn't true.

When people ask for help on the appropriate forums most times they get it.

Some of the forums do however have a reputation for toxicity - CS:GO and DOTA 2 particularly.

Moderators primarily lock posts for breach of TOS, wrong location, or basically anything that's likely to lead to overheated arguments. The tolerance level is generally quite high. A post which was headed "Why Steam is rubbish" ran for several months with thousands of posts. Most other companies aren't that tolerant.

If you are abused report the abusive post to a moderator - there's a flag top right corner of every post.

S.x.
