really, wow so the cooldown must be incase it is fishy that too many codes are redeeemed in a small space of time like say if a game web store was hacked for codes, a retail copy of a game was stolen, etc

well, before I know it was around 25 a day or something, but recently when ive redeemed more than 25 nothing has happened. Anyway if it's 48 they haven't removed it then, just increased it........

There is indeed a cooldown but it's not obvious when you reach it. It'll just say that you've tried to activate invalid codes too many times or something like that. Was a while since I spam activated codes.
