they only did skyrim because it went all mainstream and madethem tons of money and had more mods and was a lot easier to update. they didnt do a whole lot changes compared to the pc version..
Modern studios remakes things to co-opt them with their identity politics.
They know people will get nostalgia-baited and buy it immediately so they can fund their next piece of propaganda.
