its not like im treating a specific game, that's the purpose of the game forum, correct me if im wrong
In answer to OP, most 1v1 pvp games are limited to fighting games, however, as you probably already know, many of the FPS games, such as COD (MW3 comes to mind) have private matches where you can create a 1v1 situation.
Perhaps join a competitive clan and get some folks together to customize 3v3 or 4v4 matches.
Elite Dangerous also has some skill based pvp battles, you'd be amazed the things neckbeards can do on that game.
Dark Souls 3 would be another option but it's notorious for having unbalanced weapons which are meta for pvp and therefore you're always at a disadvantage if you aren't using them.
Chivalry is absolutely hilarious and it's not ment to be taken seriously, if you're too good, you'll be kicked lol
You should check out the trailer for Absolver too.
Tekken 7 comes out soon.
His attitude stinks but I understand exactly what he is talking about, no matter how good you are at the game, you'll always fail if you're matched with cabbages.
Im looking up to tekken 7 or the new blazblue. definitely not buying sfv, its a scam
