Big Picture Mode lowers volume??

Whenever I launch big picture mode or start a game in big picture the volume to everything else gets turned down. The Youtube video in background turns down, Teamspeak turns down. Whats the deal can I turn this off lol?

Check Windows Communication settings. You can access it by right clicking the volume slider and pick and of the topics. Then head to the tab named Communication.

Windows has a feature that lowers volume by like 80% if it detects that you can talk with someone. It isn't all that good at detecting it though.

if your on windows 10 just right click on the volume icon then click on volume mixer then max out the steam speaker thingy and there you have it!
