Tasi's voice OFF?
Is it possible to turn Tasi's voice down with some voice audio setting? I don't own the game but I am afraid to buy it since it has these Tasi's talking atmosphere disruptions. So it won't be Amnesia experience as I remember it.

You can't turn it off. You absolutely can still be very immersed, but it requires you to have the right frame of mind. As someone who's finished the game and initially didn't like her narration but ended up really digging it, if you approach the game knowing that you're basically role-playing the main character, you might enjoy it a lot more. If you go into it expecting it to be like TDD, you'll be disappointed, so adjust your expectations. There's a neat story but it requires the protagonist to actually be a character and not a voiceless husk.

It's worse than that she can't even die. People have made videos of them actually trying to kill her just to shut her up but she won't bloody go!

It won"t help, you can"t turn black into white and yogurt into cucumber no matter how hard you try. Jokes aside that"s not the only single factor that won"t allow you to be immersed, there is other gimmicks. Looking into this after i finished with all endings i would honestly say that Chinese Room did better job in the past then Frictional itself this time, believe me or not.

If anything, you can turn off sound completely, turn on all subtitles including closed captioning and play Silent Hill Ambience video or something fitting the mood on Youtube in the background. It would be a completely different experience than devs intended, but you'd get what you're looking for - a game with no voices and only with text.

As much as I like the game, having only one volume slider is kind of dumb.

I mean in those dialogue sequences and when he reads letter that's ok but not like in the middle of the game
