The consequence of which is that they can't re-use textures and models throughout the game as much as they could in e.g. TDD and SOMA.
So that's at least one of the reasons why the game has a bigger size.

Lol? if your hdd dont have 50gb to spare dont even bother making a space since it probably cant run any game that need 3d graphics software near future we dont even need physical hdd disk drivers since all game data coming in cloud server Xbox already using this technology im sure Steam soon follows it too.
