In what time period this game will be?

Modern times? 19th century? Future?
In trailer I saw there was some lights and some alien like machine with glowing thingy on pedestal.

I'm more thrilled for old times settings before electricity was invented, especially in Amnesia Dark Descent, where whole story plot took in medieval like castle

On one of the in game screens which developer published we can see old and decaying air plane. The plane looks like old turbo propeller from 1930s or 40s.
So the game will take place at least in 1930s. About 100 years after events in first Amensia which was set in 1839.

The plane could've crashed many years before the game. It looks quite old to me.

You don't pay attention to details do you Viktor? Watch the trailer again. The crashed plane is not many years old but days or week or two old. At most a month. How we know this?
The radio is still working inside. We can even hear voice over the radio:

"Crew of the Cassandra please respond. We have found help"
later he says:
"I am here with Jasmin, answer please Vera..."
later he says:
"Cassandra, this is Anton Metzier" (but I am not sure about his last name I know its Met...something.

The game will take place in 1930s or 1940s not in modern times. I can bet 20 dollars with you. What you say? Wanna bet?

Same time period as LETHE which was a fine Amnesia style entry from a few years back.

The game takes places in 1937, as stated in several interviews by Thomas Grip.

I came to the forums just to find this out for myself. So the 3 games are set in 1839, 1899 and 1937 respectively. got it!
