I had an account previously now I can't recover it
It wasn't very far and I'm thinking maybe I didn't make an account. But When I entered my email and all the usernames i could think of it came up blank. My question is there anyway to recover this account? I tried to get back into the game but grinding through tutorials is tedious to say the least. I also don't have anyone to play with, which makes it less fun I'd say. But I don't understand the payed reward structure. It comes with boats and Doubloons? Do u get a new boat each time? Why is everything priced in dubloons and what do I do with my money? Many of these questions can be wiki'd but I tried and couldn't find the information I was looking for.

I have played PP since 2005 and I had numerous accounts. Thing is, if your account becomes inactive and it does not have any doubloons in any of the characters, the account is banned, and won't let you recover it, it is a messed up system, but pretty effective to take down those inactive pirates that fill their database.
As far for payed reward I guess you are speaking about subscription? Thing is that for players who play on subscription servers or those who pay an X ammount of money to buy doubloons from their store get a special reward (mostly limited edition items and such) that varies from month to month.
I have been playing on the Viridian server, which was then merged to Meridian, and from time to time I grab my boat and go for some pillages.
In order to buy a boat you either get it from other pirates (which is the best way IMO) or you can buy them off shipyards, that have an inicial cost price in PoE (pieces of eight) and then have a delivery fee in doubloons, which are really expensive.
So all in all you can either save up your money or buy a house / clothes / items / badges, you can even use it to wager against other players in the PvP puzzles.
Any other question you have feel free to reply, I ll sub to the discussion just in case anyone else comes up with a doubt.

thanks I had a feeling it was deleted or some ♥♥♥♥, I always found the idea of running your own pirate ship alluring and I didn't get that far when I played before. So I was considering just buying one after the tutorial... lol

Thing is, at the moment the smallest ship out there goes around 40-50k if I am not mistaken, plus you need to be an Officer in a crew and have a Officer Badge, which costs some doubloons, so you may need to grind some money, this game is pretty tough at the beginning, unless you are a master of puzzling. Just hop on some pillages and hope for the best, you should make 2-3k on a mediocre pillage and even 6-7k on a good one, you may even invest on the Bravery Badge, which lets you join Sea Monster Hunts. Those are a great way to get loads of money and some valuable items you may sell to other players, the opportunities are endless, so most important have fun!
