Also it is important to note that it isn't 30 consecutive days. It's 30 logged in days. So if you log in once a day for 30 days, then yes it will only last a month. However, if you log in 5 days , don't play for 6 months, and then log in again there will be 24 days left (30-5 logged in days - the day you log in after 6 months)
You get 24 labor hours per day with the basic labor badge:
24 hours (labor hours) * 25 poe (pay rate) = 600 poe (daily profit)
600 poe (daily profit) * 30 days (days in a month) = 18000 poe (monthly profit)
18000 poe (monthly profit) / 3300 (cost of dubloons) = 5.45 dubloons (earned per month)
So you would profit around 0.45 dubloons with 25/hr labor pay, and most shops are paying around 30-40 for basic or more for skilled/expert. So yes the labor badges are worth it as long as you keep your crafting puzzles active and make sure they don't go dormant.
this is old as heck but just in case someone needs the correction: Labor badges are most definitely calendar days and will keep counting down even when you don't log.
