How do I get a Subscription?

I checked out PP website and checked their forums to find out how to start a subscription. I was taken to a support page where I had to input my username and password. Now the issue that I'm running into is that I made my pirate via Steam not through the website.

When trying to sign into my account via the PP website I am unable to (password incorrect). So I try to recover my password (even though I know it's correct), and I am unable to recover it because there is no existence of my email address in their system.

So, my question is this: How did you start your subscription using your Steam account? If this isn't possible does that mean that I would have to create an new account/pirate?

My last question is: Is it even WORTH it to have a subscription?

Hey, As a Steam pirate myself, there is only one real ocean going at the mo which is Emerald.
Steam logins can't be used on their website, and If you playas much as I do, you soon spend the sub price in Dubloons anyway. Hope you manage to sort it!

Thank you! that makes a lot of sense. I guess I'll skip the subscription and keep using my Dubloons. I'de like to add you as a friend so we can play together sometime...shall be fun :)
