Any mods to enable the censored blood?

There is someone who managed to enable it using cheat engine, but as far as I know he hasn't released his table.

I don't know if they have any plans on continuing work on that table either because it's actually EXTREMELY tedious to enable blood because there isn't just simply one flag per game that triggers it it's on a per game / per enemy basis. Your best bet is just playing the JP version or ROM hacks of Zero 1-4

I was talking about this with someone recently, they pointed out it would probably be easier for someone to make a translation mod for the JP versions of the Zero games rather than trying to restore the blood in the English versions. This could also be an opportunity to re-localize the game with a more faithful translation, the original character names, etc.

what's weird is someone already made a mod for ZX that gives the JP version the english script so you could experince the JP version's voice acting. Don't know why nobody has done the same for the Zero games for english speakers to experience the uncensored blood.

And I thought games in the USA were more violent... well our culture certainly is. Whatever I'm done with games. They are just a form of capitalist exploitation anyway.

You don't. You just press a button on the main menu to swap to the Japanese version, and you get the blood. That means text will be in Japanese, yes, and there's currently not a mod to translate that, but otherwise gameplay is as normal with the blood.
