Too bad, so many games including Star Force 4 which ended up never seeing the light. Although Star Force 3 at the very least didn't end with a cliffhanger like ZXA. That said, I would like to believe that the reason why they are so open now to even admit of these facts after all these years is because at the very least, they are trying to re-consider new possibilities while seeing how fans react.
Meanwhile, we get these occasional Legacy Collection drops which although cool, are fairly halfassed in some regards and don't get patched as much as they should. It feels like Capcom is barely giving Mega Man the attention the franchise deserves, and we fans just have to wait and pray that our wishlist items get acknowledged someday in the meanwhile. At this rate, assuming they go in the same order as they are releasing Legacy Collections, a new Zero/ZX game might be a half a decade away or so, and that's assuming we get X9 within the next year.
