Flammole: Level 4

Is it even possible to get the Level 4 kill on this guy? I wouldn't even be complaining if he was somewhat of a threat to me at least, but he isn't.

It's just that the Biometal takes up 99.99999% of his body! How the hell are you supposed to even get the Level 4 take down on him? As soon as the fight starts, I shoot him once with my uncharged buster, and I get the red shine hit marker. No matter what I hit him with, I just end up hitting the Biometal!

Every other Pseudoroid I had no problems with getting the level 4 take down. Yea, they were tough and I died a lot by trying to be precise on them and failing to avoid their attacks. But Flammole, he can't even hurt me enough to be a threat! Whenever I attack him I hit the Biometal so I just give up and let him kill me, and even doing that takes him an eternity to do.

Anyone have any strategies on getting the level 4 take down on him... Or how to have him quickly terminate you so you can restart the fight at least. Besides resetting the game, which seems to be the current fastest way to try again.

Being aggressive failed on me, being patient yields no better results. I can't seem to miss the biometal. I know his weakness is Harpuia, but I can't hit him with a saber without hitting the damn biometal!

Using Model H, hit him from above with the jump slash. You can hover down towards him to make it easier. Works best when he's burrowing from the ceiling to the floor, or doing the flamethrower move.

You can also use Model F's buster edit to have shots come down on him from above, but that takes a lot longer.

Thanks for the tips. But I spent a few hours just hammering away at him since I posted this. Eventually, I beat him by Fully Charged Buster Shots to his face while he ran or idled. I never attacked him when he was doing anything. Took a while, but it managed to eventually work.

I was going to give tips but seems like you have managed. Nice strategy btw not gonna lie. Personally I prefer the Model H slash while hover descending but still if it works, it works.
