First of all, if those of us that do have these unlocked had to go through the effort of unlocking them properly, why shouldn't you have to do the same work to get the same reward?
Second of all, what's even the point of obtaining a 100% save that isn't yours? You aren't actually experiencing the process of getting everything unlocked that way, you are left with nothing left to do without having actually done all of it.
Not trying to be disrespectful, just trying to understand.
You wouldn't grow.
You wouldn't improve.
You'd find a conquered save file and gain everything.
You'd experience a hollow victory.
Nothing would be risked and too much would be gained.
It's sad that you don't know the difference.
Let’s see how that might work out...
From what I heard, all the saves are in one file, so you’d lose your save data for the other games.
You probably don’t want that.
You’d need someone’s file with all the games 100%...
But what would that do to your achievements? What if they could unlock in an impossible order and you look like a cheater?
You can save to any file when you use a Transerver. You don’t need a save already in a specific save slot for that.
The Model X unlock also makes you keep both Model X and Model ZX.
If it's a matter of wanting to have certain unlockables unlocked such as Model X or Model a for a new playthrough, why should anyone have to go through the trouble of starting a new save file for the collection in general and doing multiple full playthroughs of just ZX and/or ZXA just to make a specially tailored save file for someone who doesn't want to do the same effort to earn it? It's not like anyone has made a save editor for this game yet (as far as I'm aware), and anyone's personal save files are more likely to have completion beyond what OP is asking for. If someone were willing to go through such effort, you would be more likely to find the file on a forum/website more dedicated to cheats.
I just genuinely don't see a point to this, that's all. It's asking a lot, and all just to either not play the game, or to do so slightly differently.
Because the Hedgeshock medal exists
Modifying the exe in any way will cause save data made with that exe to be incompatible with vanilla, unmodded copies of the game. This includes the patch for english names in the japanese versions of ZX and ZXA. Even if you are downloading a save made with the same modifications you have, for some reason it seems there's no guarantee it will work.
Similarly, trying to use a vanilla save file on a modded copy of the game is not guaranteed to work, though sometimes does.
Because of this discovery, it is now known that even if someone uploads a save file, it is not guaranteed to work with your copy of the game.
Not all of us derive enjoyment solely from unlocking things in these games. Some of us have played these games many times forward and back and just like to revisit them once in a while to reexperience the music, the story, the characters, and the world that they bring once again. The act of simply playing it is already enough fun for us. It reminds us of our childhoods when we first played these games. I've grinded for the items and EX skills ad nauseam elsewhere, and I know how fun the games can be after I have all of them. Now, I just want to start a playthrough with everything already unlocked purely because it's more FUN that way. Not all of us have that much time in our lives to grind out everything in these games. Maybe that's how you have fun with these games, which is valid, but I have my own way of having fun too, which is playing through them with all the toys unlocked.
