It's called a choice.
There's nothing we can do against it.
I dislike Vent too, but i will have to deal with it when i will play Ashe. (I think Grey is more interesting than Ashe tho)
I don't think you understand how BIG of mod that would be, to do something that seems "simple".
A modder, needs literally to reverse engeneer the code sometimes to understand HOW some stuff works. It's not like Capcom employees who have the source code and could do wonders in any game if they wanted.
And sometimes, a game does make some checks to see if the correct sprite is loaded for example, and just this is enough to make this mod a pain in the ass to work with.
Let's just stick with the quality of life Mods, like Swapping Voice Actings (Capcom could do it and they have the assets to do it, they won't do it because they know people will buy it regardless of having it or not), rework on the text scripts for the Zero series (No one deserves the "Retirement" instead of "Killing" for example.
Megaman Zx for example, can run the japanese version with the english text without crashing! Just this discovery is enough to understand that if Capcom changed the font for the ZX games and made all the double text boxes with weird splits become one box with a better, smaller and good font, they would be able to add the Japanese voice acting on the English or the English text on the Japanese version without having to get those text boxes without voices because of the split text situation that only happens because they choose the worst font type and size ever for these games. Just the fact that the game does not play the next dialog on some texts because those texts doens't have a dialog in Japanese (because again, they splitted a lot of dialogues in half to fit on the box - poor font choice), it's enough to see how possible it would be for them to add those little tweaks and make this collection way better. Of course we are talking Capcom and Megaman series in the same sentence, and I know they only want a quick money for those who love the series, that became as nich as the Metroid fanbase at this point. They would NEVER go that extra mile. It's easier to, you know, add a weird "Save assist" feature that kinda works like a Save State but nope, if you want to use it as a way to "Reset" the stage easier in MMZ to get a better Rank, you will see a LOT of problems with it. But that's about what they did. And that's way too much, actually, I'm impressed they tried something this time.
