Zero 3 is just better
I had forgotten how much better z3 is when compared the other 3. Dont get me wrong, they are all good games, and have their own charm. But 3 is just hands down the best

Except Omega sucks so much.
And that useless cyberdimension which has no purpose in plot.
And that obnoxious rank-based EX-skills obtaining.

How does omega suck? The final boss is probably one of the coolest fights in the whole series.
You don't have to do cyberspace, and it's kinda just there for a power trip, activating all your elves is kinda op.
The skill thing kinda sucks in all the zero games, but the ranking system in three is at least a lot better then two.

Agreed. Z3 is just better, they tried to "Evolve" it on Z4 at least on the Cyber Elves regard but I hate that. Not only it's hard as hell to farm E-Crystals there, the only way to make your Elf to go up one or two levels after the max is by doing a recipe the game won't help you learn it.

Actually I don't know what I hate more in Z4, the Elf system or the Recipe system. XD

Well it is useless most of the time... except for the stage where you can fight Phantom and get the ultimate foot chip

Too easy.
You say, Elpizo it the easiest last boss?
Think again, his first form rips ass.
Omega doesn't. Easiest last boss I've seen in MMZ so far. With all his phases.

Elpizo is a joke once you know what he does. he also summons enemies that drops hp items so you can litterally cheese him.

I've beaten Omega with no elves not even knowing what he does from the first try. All I knew that he has three forms with 3 HP bars each and that's it.
I've spend my HP bar when I've finished his second form, I used subtank and then I defeated 3rd form of Omega with no hits taken at all. Don't you tell me my skill suddenly improved in one day.
Omega is but a disappointment in many ways.

I'm not going to deny Omega being easy. In fact, with all the upgrades the game gives you, foot chips in particular, he IS easy. I'm just here to ask a question. From what I've seen you say on steam discussions, you clearly loathe Zero series. Why do you keep playing then? Why play something you hate?

Because every Megaman game has things which suck amazingly strong?..
What the hell is this question?

From all the complaints you wrote I really couldn't understand why you kept playing. That's all. Sorry for bothering you.

Let me ask you a counter question.
If I'll stop talking about bad aspects of the games, will they suddenly became tolerable or even good aspects?
No, Phoenix Magnion will still suck as the one of the annoying bosses, gaining EX-skills through grinding rank will still suck, grinding levels of the weapons will still suck as well (everybody complained about it, not just me), inability to get a missing part for an achievement in MMZ4 will still suck, and every other flawed aspect of those games will still suck.
So why shouldn't I ♥♥♥♥♥ about most noticeable points of suck?
Just think about it, not talking about BAD ASPECTS does NOT make BAD ASPECTS to LEAVE those games. They will still be here.

Well, I haven't seen you discussing good points. It just seemed way too pessimistic to only talk about things that suck.
Since you bothered to list some points I guess I'll say my opinion on them...
Phoenix Magnion: Yes, it's a terrible boss.
Gaining EX skills through rank: You don't need them to beat the game, and if you aren't good enough for them but want them you can use cyber-elves that give you A rank. You need to work for 100% completion. I can undestand this way of doing it isn't for everyone, but it is for some.
Grinding levels: Agreed, agreed, agreed. Can't believe some people actually defend this point by saying you can't level up weapons in hard mode, well that is the sole reason hard mode sucks.
Missable parts (and missable cyber-elves for that matter): It's an intentional design choice to make you replay games. Again, not for everyone, but for some.

I believe, good points were talked about a lot even w/o me.
I just have nothing to add about it so far.

On the other side, lets see...
I've beaten (almost, stopped at the Dr. Weil in MMZ4 atm) 4 games already.
It's 8x4 regular bosses, 2x4+ final bosses + many subbosses and even more regular bosses cause the amount if inter-levels differs each time.

So we have 40+ bosses and my complains have touched:
- a single attack with lacking readability for the final boss;
- the same for a regular boss;
- utter awful game design of one of regular bosses;
- disappoinment in overhyped final boss of the other game.

And some other minor stuff.

Also, discussing good stuff most will lead to the spoiler area most likely, cause story of the Z-series is so good, it's easily best among all the franchise.

Alright. Once again I apologize for bothering you.

The sunken library can ♥♥♥♥ ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the way off. Collecting the disks in that stage is beyond stupid and pointlessly sadistic
