My Winter Train

The train suddenly stopped in the middle of nowhere
Discovered that some part is damaged and the brakes will not work anymore
Ran for 3 km to the nearest depot to get a spare one
Was eaten by a wolf on the way back to the locomotive...

A few things to remember before you venture forth into this freezing merciless adventure...buy all Kalashnikov ammo...save your ammo...buy loads of food to replenish your health...grab a knife to skin & sell animal hide, antlers & meat. never speed over 40kph, keep yourself warm in & out of your train at all times and last but not least save your game often... I mean often like every time you feel something bad is going to happen.. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention ... also pray often.

9/10 recommended for a sim that has an awesome storyline.

Game is so dumb I had to buy that

I don´t want to pay for spare parts - kill people in hangar and fix your train for free.
Always save game. Always. Never go faster than 40 km/h. When it says "turn off electrical power", you DO IT. There is never enough of AK ammo.

Okay, so the best gaming moment I've had in years was playing this. I was going through the tutorial and came to the long bridge where you have to stop and wait for another train to go by. Well, I didn't stop in time and was like 50 or so meters past the switch. I could see the oncoming train and realized I was going to have to move my train backwards pretty quickly. Started flipping switches, trying to get my train moving backwards, but still couldn't figure out why I wasn't moving. More panic, with the other train getting closer and closer. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't moving backwards. Looked up again, saw that there was no way I was going to get the train moving in time...so I did the sensible thing and ran for the door, jumped out, and ran away as fast as I could. Looked back just in time to get the "game over" scene of the wrecked train. I didn't stop laughing for five minutes. Epic job on immersion in the game and epic job making a tragic but hilarious moment like that possible!

Also, if you want to shoot deer from the cab, like 19th century buffalo hunters, this is possible.

Last, I didn't see any gopniks?

Just the right amount of autism.

I`ve just played a few hours but what `Ive seen is a crazy mashup.
It is a train simulator mixed with survival and shooter elements (if you want... you can also focus just on the train part).
This game is done very well, especially the sim part. And it is full of crazy ideas.

Respect for the devs creativity!
